Behavior/Symptoms

Oral health is one of the most crucial factors in contributing to overall health, a lot of health issues start in the mouth. Most of the diseases resulting into inflammation and infection to the rest of the body are coming from dental issues, following can be the symptoms that may require medical attention:

  • Dropping food from the mouth
  • Reduced appetite
  • Swelling near the mouth
  • Pain in or around the mouth
  • Bleeding from the mouth
  • Terrible breath
  • Loose teeth
  • Additional teeth or over retained baby teeth
  • Discolored teeth
  • Tartar
  • Abnormal chewing

Solutions

Anesthesia is used to properly examine and clean the teeth, a complete oral examination is done by our veterinarians to check any signs of disease. If required a complete x-ray is also done for the full mouth, so that the roots can also be analyzed to check if there are any signs of disease/abnormalities. In certain cases that are deemed to be critical, we can choose to remove the teeth or oral surgery can also be performed.

"Great clean space with friendly staff! All three vets are so caring and compassionate about what they do. I will not board my dogs anywhere else. They have little rooms instead of kennels and they can play with other dogs too!"
